‘Wash Your Handsington’ by Maggy Keegan

You know when you’re that phase of sick when you don’t think you’re that sick but once you’re around normal people it becomes very, very clear that you should not be out in public circulating it up?

I was standing in the milk area of Trader Joe’s, sweating weirdly, humming along out loud to “I Fought the Law and the Law Won” looking for yogurt for a good ten to fifteen minutes (which was incredibly hard to find by the way, it was like National Treasure) when I realized I should be at home in bed - not roaming the world, dropping my keys, talking loudly to people, and trying to see if the Trader Joe’s people would notice if I took two free food samples instead of just one (and they probably would not have because they were talking a lot about bicycle helmets and the advantages of iron supplements). So I went home. And I found this on the internet:

Right?! I don’t know why but that makes me incredibly happy. Handsington. Ha. That’s not even really a word. Whoa. I just got really tired. Nuts. I had this whole thing about Memorial Day and sundresses I wanted to have a lady chat about and now all I can think about is cop shows and soup. And I even had a picture all picked out. Lookit:

Adorbs, right?! I can’t stand it. Supercute. Go buy sundresses. They’re in and on sale right now at Old Navy and New York & Company. And add a belt, because why not? It’s a great accessory to a cute little sundress. Did I just say supercute? Oh dear.

Ladies, I’m off for a little lady nap. Have a glorious week, wash your handsington and remember, don’t let anyone hate on your fashion choices. Be bold. Be loud. Be proud. And most importantly, be a lady.
